The red pocket knife with the Victorinox Cross & Shield, known worldwide as the „Swiss Army Knife“ has its origin in the heart of Switzerland, where Karl Elsener opened a cutler’s business in 1884  – with the help of his mother Victoria. In 1891 he supplied soldiers of the Swiss Army with the first knives.
